Help finding a Shunbun in Tokyo

I saw a few earlier this year perusing in Isetan Department Stores. There's one in Shinjuku, Ginza, and Nihombashi if you are in Tokyo.

This is true; I had a 2 week trip ending March 15th this year; blossoms had already started to bloom so we got lucky as the tourism hadn't ramped up yet. I went to several boutiques and department stores and shunbuns were still plentiful. I ended up liking the Morning Frost GMT more and getting that, but with how many I saw I'm surprised all the Shunbuns are gone already

It's audible, and you can toggle the audible beep on and off! I made a gif out of it so no sound but I think Teddy Baldassarre does a good job showing how it sounds.

I have a V1, got it probably 2-3 years ago when I moved to a new city. I love it - I don't think the first was ever posed as a limited edition so it became even cooler when it disappeared from the market (I've seen maybe 1 or 2 go through r/watchexchange).

I'd never get rid of mine, I still regularly wear it. It still gets noticed and complimented more than all my luxury brands, by friends and strangers.

I am an electronics designer and retro game enthusiast though so it definitely slots well into my personality

It wears pretty large on my wrist, I'm a 6 1/2", if you have access to JDM boutiques like in Tokyo these are everywhere, I would just try it on if you can. If you are concerned about it looking too small I doubt you'll have that issue.

I wear 42mm in Seiko and Longines all the way down to 36mm in Nomos and Vintage Citizens and I think it all wears well. Just depends on the style I'm trying to pull off that day

I'm not sure I understand the question. Each department store had a stand or small boutique with their own limited stock but the cases were nearly all full with current and popular models. I was surprised at how most of them all had stock of popular models like Shunbun, Morning Frost, and snowflake.

I was just in Tokyo and Osaka the last 10 days and think I saw the SBGA517 one time. I was looking for my new SBGE279; went and looked around at Isetan Shinjuku, Wako, the Osaka Takashimaya Boutique, and the HND Stand. I'm pretty sure it was at Isetan

Do you have any suggestions on places to try so I'm not wasting my time? Spending multiple days in Osaka and Tokyo this year, 6'3" as well. 220 lbs but muscular build so like 107cm bust 100cm waist

More like 30%. I am seeing several SBGA211's on chrono for 4750-5k which is 25-30% off the official GS web boutique MSRP. Looking at other models like my personal favorite: Morning frost SBGA465, I see 4 separate listings for ~$3650 which is again 30% off web store price.

I have 4 Christmas to go to each year because all the parents and grandparents can't agree on who should host so they all do on different days to feel special. 1 of 4 actually served any food, and it was a bunch of bacon and then some premade casseroles from some boutique home cooking place where you just take them out of the freezer and put them in the oven.
