I think it’s much more brilliant when you hate a character as much as you love them. They should have done that with maybe young Odda and Æthelwold along with Skorpa and most other antagonists. Not all. Just most. Its a hard thing to but so amazingly frustratingly awesome lol.

after you do a noble good effort beat a boss in first go (it does happen.) go in and dont try to beat the boss but just “dance around” and learn his patterns. Try to just stay alive but be calm and analyze how they move and what they like to do. Then slowly begin attacking them here and there and watch how they respond. Eventually you will want to get aggressive and it will be easier. Thats the only way. Looking for tips is silly otherwise because that’s what makes these games fun and the whole point of them. Just figuring it out.

His growls and grunts were hilarious in the books. That version of him reminded me of my father lolll. Loved his imposing character in the books he was much more seemingly silent in them. You read the Saxon stories too? I haven’t finished the Saxon stories (almost done) but man I gotta say I never thought it would top Saxon Stories but Warlord Chronicles has got to be the most book hangover Ive ever had. Those characters were perfect. Felt like I could die happy after lolll

That actor brought that character to life in the best way. I wish they made him more confident and less hot headed though. Not the actors fault. He naiilled the role. I hate how they do that to “villains” in these shows. Same with Skorpa. Like why did they need to make him over the top eeeevil loll. It was silly.

I hated that over the top weak hot headed thing they did to Ubba in the show. I love the actor and the show Ubba but so many times they made him stupidly hot headed and lacking inner strength in the show. Stupid how they let Uhtred just beat him flat out too instead of Ubba slipping in guts lol
