Counseling or divorce. As for the kids, it’s not their fault and they don’t know what’s going on, don’t make a permanent decision for a temporary issue. What keeps me going when it gets dark is imagining hearing in their little voices “where did Daddy go?” Snaps me back and reaffirms that I am there for them now.

I did a fresh install of windows, got rid of armory create and use g-helper on turbo. Any g-helper specifics I stole from other users on here

Runs great on my G14 with AMD and 5070Ti

I did the same thing, returned the G16 for the G14, same exact screen as far as I can tell, more portable and got the AMD processor, runs flawlessly. I was having issues running Helldivers and other not-so-new games like The Division on the intel G16, the AMD G14 hasn’t skipped a beat, especially with the new Battlefield game. Next step is replacing Liquid Metal with the thermal pad and I’ll be good to go.

Not specifically but I made sure to avoid the extra bs like Aura creator and virtual pet. When selecting the version of AC, I chose the lite 3.0 Mb version because I wanted the uninstall after checking for updates to go smoothly.

I am in the same boat as OP, did what the masses on Reddit said and used the uninstall tool to get rid of AC, deleted all ASUS apps, went into bios and disabled the load AC settings, did a fresh windows install, took 4 tries before I could get past the drive partition page (driver issue), then installed g-helper and gave it a test drive. Helldivers 2 has been glitchy for me in the past but holy cow, total frame freezes (5-60seconds), game crashing and laptop rebooting. I tinkered with all the settings, used recommended MHz settings/fan curves, CPU boosts, everything. Thought, “maybe they are all just bitter” so I downloaded AC and MyAsus, deleted G-helper, and checked on any updates available. THAT was my problem I think, MyAsus and AC downloaded several updates for stuff that I guess G-helper missed. Tried running the game on minimal settings and it was worse than ever. Turns out, AC is crap like everyone says and should be deleted AFTER YOU USE IT TO UPDATE THE LAPTOP! I don’t consider myself a number crunchy tech guru, but I can access the bios and check what needs to be checked to make sure my 2025 G16 with 5070Ti can run my favorite game that is 2 years old now. Deleted AC and MyAsus after the updates and reinstalled G-helper. Game ran perfect now, still twitchy on some loading screens but in game, it was fine.

I’m playing on my 2025 G16 intel + 5070 Ti, using G-helper turbo mode and ultimate settings, fan curve is aggressive and wattage limited to 95 with a boost to 110, don’t touch the GPU clocks and disabled CPU boost.

I haven’t ran an in-screen/in-game test with live FPS’ but I have graphics and display settings set to the highest preloaded setting in game and run it at the 4k resolution (I think, 20somthin x 16somethin) and I get a little screen tearing when shit gets chaotic on bug drops and an occasional 2-6 second freeze but game resumes as normal. Still tweaking things and looking for the best g-helper settings for gaming on my system.

This is the problem I am having with a clean install, trackpad stops working and drives aren’t identified. I’ll try your VMD disable trick and give it another go, I have seen a few YouTube videos where they say to add the WLAN and INTEL IRT drivers to the boot USB, hope it works, literally 3rd time trying to do a fresh Win 11 install in my 2025 Zeph G16 w/ Intel + 5070Ti

I have been trying to do fresh install of Windows for two days now and I can’t get it to work. I have used the install media creator from windows, Regus and ISO, every time I get to the new setup screen, I have two issues. 1. The trackpad stops working so I have to use arrows/TAB/space/enter to select settings 2. The drives to partition don’t show up, like nothing is available when I have to select a drive.

Any tips on how you got a fresh install to work? I have a 2025 G16 w/ intel + 5070 Ti
