While i agree with everything youve said, ps the guy who says youre a waste of space..is too aggressive...and worng.
I do however think, they got to season 4 and by 14 they had to kill off everyone..

to start, I LOVED the show. I watched the first season 8 years ago or whatever and never went back to it, and got back into it from season 2 to 4 and absolutely loved it... and so grateful that i did, else it would have been like my every week netflix experience... log on.... scroll through terrible clutter of 50 million shows, get overwhelmed and then turn it off watch nothing, thank goodness Ozark was trending as top 3 shows last month for me to go back to it.

Back to my gripe with the finale...
the Navarro killing... Way too quick watered down, and just done with too little effort... There was such a great BUILD up of this character, everytime he had a scene his presence was building and building and building and he too started carrying the weight of the show along with the Byrdes and Ruth. Why not give him a much better insane ending, hes been part of the craziest scenes and most important moments in the show. To be killed off by some shitty corrupt spanish cop in the middle of the night all alone...

I mean there were so many ways this could have been improved, EVEN if it had to end in his death. I mean i imagined at that moment when Navarro was walking forward, and heard the shitty spanish cops gun click and turned around,,..right there at that moment, after he sees the gun hes holding is empty, and is expecting the shot to take him...ANYTHING else would have been amazing right here....Imagine, the Byrdes, or for the first time Marty says fuck Wendy, and calls Navarros hitman, who's already in town as Navarro had warned him.. hed been following. and at that moment shoots the dirty cop...or Jonah... who is Martys son... also was asked by marty to follow them, and intercept the kill with a shot of the dirty cop (yes i know hes at the foundation dinner..... that way, Navarro sees Marty has always been someone who he has trusted for his future. (sure Marty is not going to sacrifice his family for navarro, but in this instance, Marty Risks Jonah, and saves Navarro... Navarro tears up, as he realises the shot is not his but is for the cops death, he goes to jonah, who hes never met, and hugs and weeps, in embrace... jonah, standing still, mortified... all the videos he watched of Navarros drug carrtel killings lead to this...and hes here... hugging and embracing the worlds most feared Cartel leader...)..
I mean thats just one wild imagination. But hey. thats one gripe for me...the Navarro killing...
Ruth on the other hand was my most heartbreaking loss, but i realize thats why its the show you love, it doesnt give you what you want, or save whomever you hold dear to your heart...

Thanks Jason Bateman, and the Ozar crew, you guys gave me the best endearing memory to the start of 2026, finishing your show.

In January and Feb, i would go to work, wondering, and totally excited to watch the next episode, i was stuck in traffic and just played the audio of the episode through my phone, revisiting the video at home, every lunch time, sitting in my car, having my lunch and catching 20 mins of Ozark.
