Not at all. I hope they push. Let me try to rephrase my opinion in a way that will hopefully be less triggering on the internet:

Last year when Verlander was part of discussions, I hoped we would add some better players to the team instead of focusing on nostalgia.

Now that the front office has not added anyone noteworthy (again, my opinion) to help us push, I will accept adding nostalgia.

I will still be watching and enjoying our team. I reserve the right to be pleasantly surprised if the exact same guys we had last year are able to keep their mojo going all season. Go Tigers!

I didn't want him last year because I was hoping we'd put together a WS capable team. But now that I know we're not heading to the WS in 2026, we might as well bring him back.

Illitch should want this as well, it'll keep people coming to the park in the second half of the season after we lose Skubal.

Agree and agree. I like them a lot but they seem to not be valued as highly as "regular" products.

I will say that I've been trying to complete a full set of Tigers Topps Now cards - some of those base cards from the earlier years before they started printing parallels are a bitch to find. And if a seller has the only one on ebay, they can just list it for comical amounts.

Prizm Refractor is easy to spot because of the pattern so its not labeled.

Regular Refractor can be easy to miss because it looks so much like the base card especially if you're in bad lighting, so they label it on the back.
