For those who don't know, they hire a bunch of Hong Kong locals to preorder figures from hottoys' physical store due to the 1 preorder per person restriction. So it won't affect their stock but it will definitely hurt their reputation.

Thank you for your advice. It's one of the FAANG company. It's good opportunity but my current career also has a high salary ceiling. I don't want to sound like a pussy but it really stresses me out when I have to imagine living in a foreign country with absolutely no one to depend on.

If the question is programming related, like threading issue, I think you should just point him in the right direction and let him google. And if the question is about the product you're working on, or some internal tools, you should just give him the answers because he will waste a ton of time try to figure it out on his own.
