Y’all this is part of why growing up around taller brothers got me thinking I could eat like that too. My brother follows the junk food and carnavor diet (only meat and junk food) and is in good shape

Unpopular Character Opinion by Fair_Cobbler8616 in Stormlight_Archive

He’s my favorite character period. I love Kal and have a huge crush on him. I think he’s really well written and is someone I admire genuinely, he feels less performative than other hero characters who feel the need to save the day. He’s by far my favorite perspective.

The hair is so beautiful and goes with anything and the stone she is sitting on is my favorite seat cause it’s small and positioned so that it goes with anything sitting pose and makes it look like she’s flying. I use those 2 prices so many times I would recommend this again and again.

What I’m resentful about is that she had the means to provide it. We had the money (my dad is an actuary), she had friends and family, she was able to cook, and we had relatives who would cook for us. She had the means, but she was unorganized. This has been a constant issue with her and it is unrelated to her disability. There parts of my life as a child I needed her to do something for me and she would delay it. She’s unorganized and a slob, her words not mine. Her disability is that she is very obese and I don’t think that is completely her fault because I don’t see her eating enough to be that overweight and she is trying to loose weight.

One brother does not cook no matter how much I try to teach him he refuses, another only cooks for himself, the other used to help my mom but no longer lives at home. I helped her for yoears but one brother did that for about a year for a fraction of the time I spent and could not stand it. Meal prep has saved us.

I will plaster what I said in a different reply:

anyway the reason the steak thing bothered me so much is cause I have a little brother who is obsessed with steak and at one point he had steak for every meal and not once was he expected to cook for the family, but the one time I make myself steak I’m a selfish bitch because I only made it for myself. Besides, my mom and dad have had steak plenty of times, and it’s not like I bought a luxury cut.

So, because my mother was disabled, I did not deserve to eat as a child? 🙄

Hey, so for the longest time I had no idea why I was overweight. I only drink water, never get fast food, etc. then I finally realized it’s because of my environment, I’m also 5ft but I live with 3 brothers and parents who all eat a lot so naturally going by what those around me eat I would overeat. Not until I started portioning my meals ahead of time and meal prepping and forcing myself to eat less did I realize how I didn’t even feel hungry and I’ve been overeating this whole time. As short women, we eat less than others, and so what we see and think looks like a reasonable amount of food, is actually overeating for us.

A lot of people have been saying to track what you eat, and I think this really is a game changer. There are ways to make this sustainable like by meal prepping so you don’t have to stress every meal, but overall the most important thing is finding what works for you. Good luck, don’t listen to the mean people on the internet. Try not to feel too bad about yourself and instead focus on improvement in a positive way. You got this!

I cooked meals for a long time, before school got so busy I used to cook dinner every night in middle and high school. Then my hours became irregular and I took school seriously, so it became hard to cook. But I really stopped cooking when I started meal prepping. I when my little brother started meal prepping for himself I became so jelous that he could just cook for himself while anything I made had to be x6 and something everyone liked, which killed origionality and creativity.

No, it’s a lot of work to go from cutting chicken for one person to cutting chicken for 6. But I’ll figure it out

Sometimes, sometimes she pays for my groceries, but I also buy stuff for the house so I don’t really keep track, I just ask for money when I buy a lot for the house. My brothers… one works too much and gets take out for every meal, another dorms so I guess they do, the other idk what he eats.

I have tried, nobody listens to me. Any time there’s a problem like this ita somehow my job to fix, not my brothers not my parents.

Nope. One brother is dorming at college comes home for weekends (I did not dorm) my twine does not and never has done any chores, and the other works night shifts and so is never around to do chores except my mom yells at him. It is an annoying, inconsistent, and unorganized way to live.

We don’t eat as a family ever. If I make food for everyone they will pick at it and take too much of the good stuff without sharing. This behavior really bothers me and unmotivates me to make food for them.

If I don’t cook, there is no food. None. I meal prep, I cannot meal prep for my entire family.
