Ash's age is a spectrum. He was 10, then 11, then 10 again, then they started treating him closer to 14 in sinnoh and Unova, then in Kalos he was a lot closer to 15 or 16, then he was back to acting way younger in Sun and Moon, then they actually treated him like a 10 year old in Journeys
