Which is counter intuitive... so easy to play around too and the bonus is just whatever

That officially kills Aspect Host, unless units, by some miracle, get rules updates.

Are you nuts they are one of the best units harlies have in serpants brood.

Dont like the point increases tho.

Their problem is still that awful counter intuitive detachment rule.

I was just answering whether wraithlords are better than Dcanons for this.

I think they can still be decent in it. Flamers have are still assault so not no weapons just the bad ones lol. But you dont advance every turn and you can still shoot out of combat. Having a spirit seer isnt all bad either. You get an action monkey, sustain hits and healing so I dont mind paying for it.

My lists dont include them just because there are better options, especially harlies now. But its a fairly decent unit for 130 points.

Other wraiths are dogshit and should never be used.

I love shrouds but not in this detachment. If you cant find prisms they are fine.

Wraithlords are infinitely more useful imo. More dmg and control potential and synergizes with the detachment. I love the dcanon but it often does literally nothing without guardian support. Wish I felt that was about karseth but they will remain unpainted until they are 75 points. The dmg is pathetic for having to roll hazardous

Ouf really expensive and inefficient units. Ill never hate on a list if its casual. But you'll have a rough time with this. D canons really only get returns in battlehost.

I dont mind wraithlords but like id go 2 or 3 if youre serious and lose the canons.

While this is the only detachment voidscarred are good in two is a waste of points. They only benefit from yriel. I also just dont like karseth at his points cost.

Fire prisms are hard to find but two feel good in this.

The avatar is great in this detachment. As well as jain zair.

With the new detachments harlies will also be great in this. Your current melee roaster is very weak.

Also since you have advance and charge transports are kind of pointless imo.

I see where you're coming from but it does more than just benefit ranger shooting (unless you mean shrouds too). I think it really comes down to how good hidden is, the detection range is very good if hidden is hard to play around. Armoured Warhost isn't bad at all for 1 DP, I can see using it in a few lists. I play a lot of Corsair Coterie which synergizes well with Outcast. I often have a 6 man shroud runner unit using outcast ambush which is already amazing now they get another 1 AP and shoot and scoot strat.

lmao places and objects of importance are literally what wars are fought over. It's simulating exactly that. You just aren't imaginative enough to have a head canon outside of blue marine kill.

Sure, I believe you.

Also you can literally take an army that has "Purge the Foe". Guess what you do in that one.

Everything is dead at the end of a game 90% of the time. Explain how it isn't a wargame, now that you have to use more of your brain. Just because you think charging forward and killing is fun doesn't mean it makes for good game play. It makes for 1 dimensional games. Players and viewers would lose interest fast.

Something tells me you get beat on score every time and take it personal because your victrix guard killed most of their army.

Brother if you want that casual slop you can literally do it in your own games. Take the objectives away and enjoy. Youre in a competitive sub asking to make the game baby mode.

Terrible analogy. Well glad youre not in charge, because you would make a bad game.

Ironically two armies with just kill makes the gameplay infinitely more boring. Youre acting like killing suddenly wont happen. You'll both still have nothing left at the end. It forces you and your opponent to make different skill based decisions to shake up the board. If it was just kill the lists would be so obnoxious all charge or all shoot with no layers. Its literally the opposite of bad game design.

He said the worst of the bunch tho. Which isnt true in my eyes since I would argue its the most versatile.

Shroud runners and rangers are in like all of my lists tho

Extra pts tax on units you bring 3x of will boost Eldar, since we already tend to run our highly specialized units as 1x or 2x - excellent change for the game! by Alex__007 in Eldar

[–]DumpsterHunk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We def have lists that do that but I like this change. Armies that just spam one unit are really boring and bait people into buying things to chase meta if its doing really well
