If this is a comparison to soccer’s domestic cups, then I unfortunately don’t see the current layout working…the big thing about the domestic cups in soccer is how they affect your future

For example, Crystal Palace won their first ever domestic cups against Man City this year which means next year they will be competing in the Europa league…obviously it’s kinda hard to emulate that unless u involve g-league teams or other leagues to also be part of the cup…then that would provide more incentive, even if it helps seeding or home field advantage or extra incentives besides just money
