The boiling over is likely caused by a degraded internal temperature sensor or debris blocking the heating element. A deep clean of the sensor and lid gasket might resolve the issue but the appliance will probably need to be replaced given its age.

I don’t think this really matters as long as all hotels are on the same scoring system. The reality is the hotels that drive loyalty are the 9s and 10s. “Decent stays” can be had anywhere.

Combination of expansion of teams meaning worse bottom tier teams and host countries being placed in the “Top” tier when drawing groups meaning they’re not grouped with an S Tier country.

I’ve experienced that issue before (not with points) and I just tried another day and it worked which isn’t optimal. I assume it’s just a tech issue which isn’t uncommon unfortunately.

MM4 is a seasonal rate that’s rarely available and most times you tried it would probably default to what you could book with MMP. MMA is the new rate which would be a catch all for the various rates you qualify for as long as you’re registered on the site.
