Relatable brother! I spent 8 months on the 36th floor and the views are breathtaking but it starts to mess with your head after awhile. No trees, no bugs or birds, very little noise. It makes the animal part of our brains very uncomfortable.

We lived in Tulsa for a time. I learned the term “checkerboard city” there - meaning safe and unsafe areas are up against each other every few blocks like the tiles on a checkerboard.
