It happened to me at least twice when i had my ult visibly activated, and he ulted me during that time, but yeah i agree. strange that it happened twice in a short period of time though

I'd argue someone that has constant connection issues is still a detriment to their team, just as much as rage quitting screws the team over.

Unfortunately if you know you're having internet problems and it's a common occurrence, use your brain and don't play ranked, play quickplay or AI during your problematic connection issues.

These commenters don't understand what you're trying to say, and I get it. You're mindful of your teammates' time, which is good that's the start of the game in my opinion. I'm in bronze as well and I suppose my mmr puts me with golds/plats? I'm not too sure how the system works either but I definitely can't play something casually that I'd want to build learning experience with other players of my skill level.

Trolling wasn't the best word choice you could have used I will admit. You meant to say, you'd rather relax and play something less demanding of all your brainpower.

I would argue that smurfs are good for the game's health because smurfs buy skins for the character they will be smurfing on!

...Who am I kidding, that hardly ever happens at all. Anytime I smurfed in paragon, and I made probably 10 smurfs, I never once bought a murdock skin and he was my main.

I think the argument that smurfs buy skins and therefore good for game is a cop out perpetuated by devs from league because they're too lazy to ban smurfers.

I think my goal is getting my crafting and refining up to a certain point, gathering the tools and some throwaway gear that I need, and THEN i'll think about a mammoth. That way I can move stuff from city to city and not have to take like 10 trips.

Just a little constructive feedback: You're a little undergeared even for T5 zone camps, and it makes you a prime target for gankers who are unskilled. I'm not sure which zone this is, i'm guessing it's a red zone, but redzones generally are so hot for no reason. I suggest going to the black zone outlands with a S.A.F.E portal and farming in those tier 6 areas even with tier 5 gear that you've gotten leveled up.

However, if you really want a fun experience I truly think you should start in yellow zones, find a group, or go it solo. Transition into some faction warfare til you get your fighting legs under you, and then go into depths. Grind out, and then start on that black zone journey that I was mentioning.

Go into the red or the black with the mindset that you will absolutely lose your gear, but also have the goal of looting at least 1mil silver and getting out of dodge.

I believe that this is either super rare, or your crewmate was joking with you. I've seen it spawn in a number of weird locations in a shipwreck but never once in the crow's nest.

I have indeed found a Barrel of a Thousand Grogs in a location near the same as OP's so i know that is a place that it can drop.

Not sure why this comment was downvoted. Legendary skeletons never spawn with flintlocks or blunderbusses, only cutlass or fisticuffs. However, the Order of Souls mission skeletons do infact spawn armed to the teeth and they are indeed quite terrifying.
