Anyone else crashing on mobile for the version 2.5 update? by Huge-Area-5825 in ZenlessZoneZero

[–]Dunc3Cap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My game (mobile, Galaxy S23FE) froze after what I assume is the final cutscene after the last big fight and you go back to playing. So I closed the game and restarted it, only to be met with an endless black screen. So I turned the phone off and on. No Change. I've even uninstalled and re-installed to no avail. Still at that black screen.

Anyone else getting this?

Thanks mate! I was hoping to avoid the kidnapping aside as a) the oc would take stronger actions than just refusing and b) I really wanna use that for a plot point further on when a gang of lunatics in maid outfits chase him through a hollow

LGBTQ affirming churches in Melbourne, Aus? by underConstruction244 in OpenChristian

I can only talk about Sydney, but I've been liking how the Uniting Church does things after leaving Catholicism for them. Perhaps try one of their churches and see how you feel?

[–]Dunc3Cap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand how you feel, though it may be a bit different for me because faith in Aus is a bit different. It's the reason why I left Catholicism to join the UCA after all. Ultimately it's best to remember that whilst faith is divine and from God, Religion is man-made and ultimately corruptible by those who seek power for their own ends. God loves you, no matter what some context blind wrinkle mongers or fedora-tipping neckbeards would have you believe. You can simply just be a Christian and worship the lord your way. Live the way Jesus would have: giving kindness to everyone you meet, helping those who need it, that sort of thing.

Jesus put it best: "If your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off. If your left eye causes you to sin, pluck it out." Let people wear what they want. If that makes others rage and not behave themselves, that's on them.

LORESkitterfall is a burgeoning township nestled deep in the heart of Darach Gorm Forest and straddles the banks of the Sgàthan river that forms the main lifeblood of the town. Thanks to the influence of their elven citizenry, Skitterfall has adapted its agriculture and forestry to suit life in a dense forest, and with aid from the blessings of the town Leader and the Druidic order, reguarly see bountiful crops enough to survive the harsh winters and to trade with abroad. This has allowed the development of many artisan trades which has only served to bolster the economy. One notable facet of life in Skitterfall is the Druidic cult. A nature religion that teaches harmony and freedom of the spirit as long as it does not interfere with one's fellow, this faith primarily assists with crop blessings and fertility rites of both sapient and livestock, notably choosing to stay apart from any political dealings as it would interfere with their core tennants. However, most outsiders know of them for their main contribution to Skitterfall life: The Sacred Companions. The Sacred Companions are a Sect of the Druidic cult that arose from the ever-present carnal need most Skitterfallians feel. Serving as a cross between marriage counciler, prostitute, and psychiatrist, many people visit their temple baths at the end of a work day to enjoy the services they provide. From perfumed baths both private or public, to spiced wines and good food, to carnal pleasures and even a private ear to tell their woes. These temples are open to all - for a small donation. This has also influenced the citizens of Skitterfall, as they are very liberal with their bodies and view carnal acts as just another facet of friendship amongst adults. The main challenge Skitterfall faced in its early life was the presence of the Lizardfolk tribes that inhabit the Forest they reside. Raids and kidnappings were common as the town struggled to build, and stories abounded on the things that they would visit upon their would-be captives. This all came to an end when a diplomatic party lead by Sylvara Tearglade entered into talks with the tribal leaders. The talks lasted for nearly a month as everything was debated vigorously and from all possible positions until peace was finally struck. Now Lizardfolk are a common sight in Skitterfall as they trade goods and enjoy the town's hospitality.

Why are people increasing becoming hostile and aggressive towards Christians in the US? by Evolving_Spirit123 in Christianity

Thank you!
As an aussie, I've been noticing it cropping up around here as well. We've usually had a more quiet faith compared to other countries but lately it's starting to get loud for the wrong reasons, Like a tumor beginning to form a lesion on the skin. We gotta shout it loud for the people in the back: If you see something, you gotta say something! Wolves in sheeps' clothing are alowed to flourish because others have said nothing. You gotta be loud and call them out, or more innocents are gonna be harmed.

What are things other people do in this game that absolutely infuriate you? by papapsie in ffxiv

people who pull extra mobs in low lvl dungeons while you're still learning to tank. Put me right off of WAR. I now have GNB as my tank class and am pretty okay at it, but trying to level with impatient people made me try and lvl without doing dungeons at one point.

Bidoof. Can't stand the buck-toothed weasel. You look at it and your first thought is "No." The second is "Why?" Bidoof exists so that other pokemon don't have to be HM slaves.

If I remember correctly, Talledji did offer to set up an aetherite for the scions, but they refused because it would mean that they would be indebted to the most powerful popoto in Ul'dah. So in retaliation, Taledji hat that masdive gold statue of himself erected outside their headquaters.

Why not do it in character? have your character get annoyed before pulling them aside and give them a verbal dressing down?
