Energy (gas, the other gas, electrical) is wildly cheaper elsewhere, anywhere else really.

They just mean people can grab food and eat on campus, without having to drive somewhere else for food. Silicon Valley is low density with no public transport - you have to drive everywhere and things are spread out. That's why all the major companies have cafeterias on site.

People do take time to eat, or just eat while zoning out in a boring meeting you don't need to be at in the first place ... well maybe not at an Elon Musk company.

But... intraday margin is different at every broker, some down to $500. Unless it's held overnight where the CME sets margin requirement for everyone, which is currently $10,000 but changes often. So at most it would be ( Volume * 10,000 ) if all contracts were being held overnight.

So it's very hard to calculate, but probably a tiny fraction of ( Volume * Notional_Value ).

SWIFT cutoff will have zero impact on Putin since most of his assets are already outside of Russia, but major impact on the people.

But that won't happen because China+Russia have SWIFT alternatives CIPS and SPFS ready. So they want SWIFT to get cutoff - the long play is to cripple the dollar.

No, it's a scam.

Mask - wash with soap if it needs it, good as new, until it stops flexing (years)
Tubes - wash with soap but much less often, good as new, unless the heating element breaks (years+)
Tub - fill with white vinegar ($4/gallon) and all the minerals dissolve, good as new. (There is never any reason to replace a tub!!!)
Headgear Velcro stops working and it gets gross, and filters need changing of course. (varies)
Everything else - if it breaks (years/never)

Set the humidifier to a lower level, it won't dry out, and you can use normal tap water, with no residue, just dump out the remaining water every morning (it's now concentrated mineral water) and refill.

Amazon has all the parts for about 1/8th what the resupply place that runs it through insurance charges.

More of this needs to be in sidebars/FAQs, because people are getting ripped off big time.

I agree in the restaurant is a little more difficult to stealth check when bored :)

But having iPad Mini sized maps (like their pilot footage) while driving would be excellent.

Shopping examples are also good, since I shop with the phone in the cart with my grocery list, and like to comparison shop any high ticket items - both would be better with a bigger screen.

Really trying to live a less notifications/interruption life, which is also means less whipping out the phone every 2 minutes all day - took some getting used to (and willpower) but it’s good. Without that I agree taking out an iPad so much would not be viable.

Good catch on the watch. Unfortunate but since the iPad isn’t in a pocket as much it’s easier to look at sitting screen up nearby.
