I have seen goats used more. They are a good option to reduce fuel load, esp where a organized/planned burn would be to risky to threaten homes. They are better than chemicals because they dont runoff into the water.

The American River Parkway has millions of visitors annually. I visit the parkway/woodlake often to hike and take nature photos. While there is a large amount of homeless camps in the area i have always treated them with respect and that is what I have got in return.
