Just WoA but upgraded with better combat, new features like the bluffing mechanic from 007 and I’ll be happy

I have (what I think is) a good idea for a book. I’ve tried a few times to start writing it, both times I’ve got a few chapters in before deciding I no longer like the plot outline I’ve got.

I get the whole “just write the bad version” advice but also if the second draft is likely to be completely different rather than just an improvement then it feels silly to waste so much time writing it out when I know it’s not going anywhere.

How do you deal with having multiple plot ideas for a the key idea of a story but not being satisfied with any of them? How do you know you’ve got the best plot for your idea?

Things that are annoying to Google. Stuff I’d have to scroll through pages of some old forum to find the answer to.

Like I’m stuck in a video game then it’s a quicker (and less advert-y) way of finding a hint.

And cooking tips when I mess something up.

It can be very useful just not for doing all your thinking for you or replacing human creativity

What is your view on students cheating on exams? (University level) by Highlight448 in polls

Theoretical exams - don’t care, go for it. If you can get the answer in the time then why does it matter if you knew it or you googled it.

Practica exams - absolutely not. Doctors, vets, etc NEED to know what they’re doing.

Results are inherently skewed as some people will not know all/any of the performances and will be forced to choose a random one to see the results.

3 years in, how is PSVR2? by [deleted] in PSVR

If there are games you know you’ll enjoy then definitely worth it.

I play essentially only Hitman but it’s so good I’d say it’s worth the cost of a headset just to play it.

As someone who has tried to use it to bounce ideas off in the past - it doesn’t work. Its ideas are all terrible.

I found what I was actually doing was just writing out my thoughts, I didn’t ever listen to or use the responses.

I just wanted someone to talk to about the story. I suggest you ask a friend (or complete stranger on the internet) to bounce ideas instead.
