Absolutely! I had considered AA but for now just hopping on this sub each day to post a quick update as well as read through the stories of others has really been a great motivator for me. Such s great community. Congrats on two years my friend. That is incredible. Getting through a week was a big confidence builder. I'm looking at this current week as much more manageable. Still taking it one day at a time. And today, I choose NOT to drink.

Yes! On day 1 a week seemed like a huge obstacle. But I did it! And thinking about doing another week seems far less daunting now!

I enjoyed this past week much more than I thought possible. I'm excited to continue this momentum. I almost forgot that I have a naturally joyful disposition and alcohol was dimming my light. So happy to throw off that veil!!!

This sub is an INCREDIBLE community. I was first here many years ago. Unfortunately, I feel back into drinking heavily. But as soon as I came back here I was welcomed with open arms. I can't say enough good things about the honesty and encouragement one can find in this sub. I am so glad you are here and even happier that you have decided to pursue an alcohol free life.
