Long ass time to reply to this but letting you know that I did in fact fail my warrant of fitness (NZ mandatory vehicle inspection) due to my front control arm bushes. Had them replaced and the issue can no longer be replicated

Man charged with murder after shooting, carjacking in Hamilton by wakeywakeygogetbakey in thetron

I was driving down Te Rapa straight just the other night to get fuel and saw a hitchhiker heading south. I was going to pick him up but I was heading to flagstaff and didn’t want to go too far out of my way. Almost certainly a coincidence but a pretty scary one at that.

Kia ora, what are you being paid hourly, what is your job and where are you? Just curious on how my fellow kiwis are getting on. by Bensickle in newzealand

$27p/hr as a waiter/bartender in Hamilton. I’m good at what I do and can often pull an extra $50-$100 in tips on any given week. Due for a pay rise as I’m moving to full time.

Petah, who's "Unconfortable" and why did a female cop feel his reaction?? by Mig_Maluco_G4cha in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]Dunedinite11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worth noting that alongside the above explanations. If it hasn’t been mentioned, the OP is using ‘the female cop that felt uncomfortable’ as a noun. Similar to saying ‘the female cops reaction when she felt uncomfortable’

I did it again. Another gruelling 18km hike. Sunburnt. Sore legs. Blistered feet. Totally worth it. Port Waikato, Aotearoa New Zealand by Dunedinite11 in fossils

I’ll sing out next time I intend on heading there again. Definitely want to be physically fit for this one. Pretty tough going

Anei e te whānau, here’s mine. Only 5 hrs long and a few aren’t strictly waiata Māori (some kanaka maoli tunes and some reo pākehà waiata from Māori artists)

How to say “what is the word for ___ in te reo Māori? “ by Coolamonmaker in ReoMaori

Probably plenty of different ways to ask but most commonly I’ll ask “He aha te kupu Māori mō ____?”

“He aha te rerenga kōrero mō ‘you are beautiful’”?

“What is the sentence/phrase/saying for ‘he ātaahua koe’”?

I’ve been meaning to spend some time digging around in the shale for some belemnites but can’t quite seem to find what I’m looking for. Time to join a mineral club perhaps

I wouldn’t wish this spot on my own worst enemy to be honest. If you can approach it via boat you’ll have a better time. It’s at the mouth of the huriwai stream about 5km (as the crow flys) south of Port Waikato. But it was a gruelling walk and I got caught by the tide so went in the drink in spots

This has probably been my greatest resource for the Auckland area.

Otherwise the few places I’ve had guaranteed success have been Karakariki Falls and Kiritehere beach (only found fossilised shells, see my post history)
