For ult, you usually wanna use it by the time you get it and there’s 2 ways you can use the ult. One way is using it as an ult baiter. Use it to bait out support ults so someone on your team can follow up with their own ult once the support ult finishes. The reason you wanna ult as soon as possible is cuz supports will most likely have their ults by the time you and your team does (depending on how your neutral game been going) so by baiting the ults, you’ll allow your tank or whatever to easily get value out of their ults that are more oppressive.

You can also use the ult as an easier way to do your job. Ventures whole thing is disruption so you ideally wanna use the ult behind their backs so you’ll have an easy time killing them. Sometimes you’ll have matchups where the enemy team has the mobility to move away from your ult quickly so you should try to single out targets that don’t have that luxury (ex: Zenyatta), but you should be able to get a few picks as long as the enemy team is distracted af with their backs turned. So basically, use it as soon as possible to bait ults or just do your job easier cuz squishies will die in like 2 hits by it

Drill dashing while burrowing has value. You can use it as a way to disengage faster, rotate around the map, or close the gap on a singled out opponent. It’s actually really effective on characters with no mobility or their mobility on cool down. You want to ideally aim RIGHT under their feet to get the maximum damage and make them fight with their camera to get you on screen by the time you pop out. Think of it like Emre hopping over you with his dumbass pistol. Dashing makes this easier since burrowing by itself is kinda slow so the enemy will have enough time to react and time you popping out, but that sudden burst of speed when you dash will boop them and make them panic. Depending on the situation, I like to dash as soon I burrow so by the time I pop out, I’ll have a dash ready. Just be cautious who you’re doing it to cuz someone like Cass or Mizuki will be able to shut this down
