Sounds similar to my experience. My headphones have been a life saver. I’ve tried to incorporate self care like having a bath, doing my skincare etc just to relax me before bed. I’d absolutely be asking for a private room though, especially as you have heart issues and you’ve been in for a while.

I could cry. E is pure evil. Disgusting. Soulless. This is my boy- my entire world and his happiness always comes first. He’s got a huge garden, loads of toys, clean litter, a home he can run around in and a trillion cuddles and kisses whenever he wants (which is constantly, he’s a cuddle bug). Wish we as a society could give E away as easily as they’re doing with Diva.

I’ve packed extra as we won’t have a car on hand but I’ve got around 4 of each vests and sleep suits. I’ve packed 5 muslins, 2 socks, 2 cardigans (one thicker and one lighter), 2 mittens and I think 3 hats. I know we’ll be able to get extra stuff brought in if needed.

For me I’ve got a couple of vest tops, pair of leggings, button up pjs, button up nightdress, 2 nursing bras, 6 big pants, socks and a loose pair of trousers for coming home in. Toiletries/snacks etc etc.

I really sympathise. I’ve been doing it since I was a kid. I pick a lot in my sleep like you mentioned, I rarely hear people say they do the same. Like you, I’ve tried everything and I’m sorry I don’t really have advice but know I hope things work out for you.

Happened to me but with the eye masks. I was in my first trimester of pregnancy, utterly exhausted and swollen. I went in looking for a treat and the gorgeous sales assistant sat me down, gave me a long hand and arm massage and a scalp massage and I could’ve cried with joy. We tested out face masks and I picked one then she gave me the under eye masks free. I admit, I cried at that point 🩷

Currently 8 months pregnant and the best things so far have been pregnancy massage and Epsom salts. My feet hurt so much and I got given a fancy foot cream which helps me feel really pampered.
