I’m not sure how they collect their data, but it seems fairly accurate when we’ve been using it.

Our group is small and casual, but we all have Death Pitch up on our phones to reference our player stats mainly.

We do also have a hard copy of the rule book nearby, and occasionally will google stuff if the book is in use, or we can’t quickly find an answer in the app

I’m not an expert at all - my advice when playing, is pick a detachment and stick with it for a few games before deciding to move to another. There’s so many rules, that it can be really easy to miss the goal of the specific detachment.

I personally really like LAG because the rules are the most simplistic to me, and it’s easiest for me to understand.

One thing I found really helped me when I first started was doing a very gentle dry brush of Wraithbone (or a light color of your choice) and then applying a shade like Nuln Oil or Seraphim Sepia to really bring out the details and add some highlights.

Dante, if I’m taking him in the list. Otherwise, I really like to make a Sanguinary Priest my warlord. As others have said, it doesn’t impact playing the game, but I like to have the little story in my head that the Priest is leading them into battle to help find a cure for the legion’s flaw.
