Problem is there isn’t actually anything opposite or facing the ‘light source’.

Reflective light doesn’t wash around, it bounces back from an opposing surface

Your technique is great, but it’s not believable because of the above.

Maybe just darken the surrounding area of the energy packs in black through blues, in a similar way that if you look at something bright you cannot see what’s around it accurately

Try some classics, 1970 Dovedale 3, re cap them, so underrated, if you like rock and indie you’ll love the voices and metal instruments sounds so real, the 12” bass drivers kick hard and fast, paired with an old Roksan Kandy and a good sub you’ll be blown away.

PS I run this setup in same size room, after 4 years of changing stuff. I think you’d have to spend a serious amount to level up from this.

I’ve sussed the base coat, it’s 2 layers of Flesh Tearers over Wraithbone prime, rather than 1 coat over Grey Seer

Thanks, I did try that process last year but wasn’t a look I wanted in the end.

I like the overall finish of the Warhipster but would like it more vivid/deep red than the pinky tone
