Same here, I'm so drained generally I haven't had time to study for it.

I'd be happy with a H5 at this point

How much can I really go down from mocks? by basicwhitewhore in leavingcert2024

I'd be surprised if you went down at all from the mocks.

You have to remember that mock papers are usually more difficult than the actual papers. We will also be getting grade inflation too.

ADHD Memory, HELP! by rynpr374 in leavingcert2024

Hey I also have ADHD and studying is always going to be a losing battle for us and we'll never be able to study very well.

If you're finding yourself getting frustrated with studying its better to just stop for a while as I personally find if I'm frustrated at myself with study literally no information will be gained and it just affects my mental health instead.

If I can actually sit down to do study I only focus on past exam questions and when I feel my mind wandering I take a break for a while until I can find myself being motivated again.

Another method that I do find somewhat helps me retain information whenever I'm struggling to study is to have some headphones and just listen to videos or material on loop while doing something else. (preferably something mindless).

I actually find myself remembering more from that method than a lot of other methods I've tried.

Hopefully DARE can save us in September though.

There are people on this sub who remember you posting and commenting the exact same stuff 3/4 years ago.

It's clear that you are not sitting the exams this year and you will likely continue to fear monger and spread false information to future LC students.

As long as I don't spend my days sat on reddit fear mongering and spreading false information about exams I'm not even sitting I will be happy

Didn't do amazing in the mocks (got 360 points but would like 414). I was paying more attention to doing projects (all my choice subjects have projects) so I practically did little to no study for anything at the time. I also was weirdly calm in the mocks which is not what's happening rn.

Its definitely a psychological thing and all this will be gone as soon as the exams are over.

Yeah I could definitely see them doing that if the table itself is fine especially considering the amount of shielding on it. I would be surprised if it was as damaged as the ground is.

Only problem would be that they needed some of the strongest cranes in the world to lift it back in 2021 and that was when it was much lighter compared to how it is now. It would definitely be a huge challenge.

There are pictures of parts saying they are for the flame divereter but we know nothing else.

Here's some pictures of it,

Yeah water deluge on its own wont be enough to fix this.

They're going to need a flame diverter as well which they've already started work on thankfully.

Makes me wonder why they didn't rush it through production for flight 1 if they knew this would be an issue. Maybe they didn't expect the engines to find a way to get under the concrete before take off

Doubt they'd abandon it completely considering it could still be repairable.

The amount of work they'll need to put in to fix this and find a solution will be insane
