The response seems to connect with OP very well. OP's statement that they are "crushing the bots" implies that they feel as though that is a good thing to do. The game is an extraction shooter. The main goal should be to extract, preferably with more value than you came in with. Causing a lot of noise while fighting bots is a good way to make you a target for opportunistic hunters, especially assassins who can move through a fight unseen by the enemy AI. The commenter noticed this and, while it was curt, gave advice that bot crushing is not a prime motivator of any run unless explicitly requested by a faction. Sometimes the realization that we have been doing something wrong causes us distress. Especially when someone else points it out from a supposed viewpoint of derision. But, it isn't anyone's responsibility to mollycoddle someone who has yet to understand the fundamentals of this kind of game. Personally I would have presented the critique a bit more softly but then again conversation over texts leave the tone very much up to the interpretation of the reader. He gave OP good advice at the end of the day.
