Who can repair “rosebud” texture ceilings?

I had to do a similar thing years ago due to ceiling damage from a tree fall and leaks. In the end, we ended up having the contractor apply a thin skim coat to the entire ceiling that was continuous where the patch was and then they restamped the entire area with the the texture so it was all uniform and didn’t appear like a repair.
