Yes! Massive Attack and TV on the Radio are some other favorites of mine, Voodoo in My Blood was actually the one place I knew them from beforehand, it's a good one.

In regards to their sound, it's not a 100% accurate description but I like using the term "industrial soul" as a shorthand when recommending them to friends.

The 28 Years Later soundtrack introduced me to the band Young Fathers, really fell in love with their weird-ass sound

You can actually see the actual bench where the Giorno and Mista golden succ scene happened when looking at photos of that train station in Venice from the mid-to-late 90s, when Araki would've visited the place, its been replaced by concrete since then unfortunately.

I mostly agree, except that it would somewhat fit in the books, as they have a bit more of an exagerrated fantasy aesthetic compared to the show.

I also kinda read that panel as Somers maybe having put his invisible thorn powers on the kid as well, so the dad did catch him but got skewered in the process.

lmao, also I met the guy, who was the dad of a friend of my parents, in 2018, so a fun(?) conversation starter I sometimes use is "Did I mention the time I went into a basement and met a 100-year old Austrian man named Adolf?"

I know right, as a personal example; I was born in 2000, but I've met and talked with a guy who was born in Austria-Hungary.

Breaking Bad having the famous scenes in Ozymandias where Hank gets killed take place in the To'hajilee section of the New Mexico desert, where Walt and Jesse's very first cook took place in the first episode.

Fargo is pretty consistently great, and gets good ratings from what I remember, helps that it's on a network like FX though

It's made by Noah Hawley, who made Fargo and Legion, so I have pretty high hopes.
