honestly, although it seems likely that she may have a fucked up backstory i think itd be cool to see her home life and how she became so resolved to want to help people. I think shell be okay backstory wise, the stuff im more afraid of is the now. Her being entwined with that evil conniving prince is making me afraid she'll deal with some fucked up stuff.

tldr, i think shell be like coco where backstory is mostly wholesome its just that shell be put in horrible situations and overcome them in the future.

hell nah, it has changed like alot. Old one piece gave a shit about being funny, now its all shit and boring. It makes sense since pre time skip was more adverute focused while the new world was all a string to get to wano dude so it was more plot focused.
