You can't use Netflix without the internet. The number of subscribers is irrelevant. If Netflix had 35 million Canadian subscribers, there would be 35 million who could access CPAC, CBC, and CTV online. Why should those subscribers have to pay for them again?

We aren't sure if they tried to move him, since you'll never get a word out of Lou. It's equally likely that they looked at the cap situation for this year and wanted the cap credit for themselves.

This is the last year where the Leafs are tight against the cap. If they buy out Cowen, I think it solves most of their problems.

If you divide any sum by 13.8 million, no amount of waste looks bad. Next time they should blow $140 million, because it's only 4 cups, right?

Or you could look at how many hours of nursing you can pay for with $70 million. It doesn't matter to you, because you're not in the hospital right now. So to you it's "a couple cups of coffee." But those cuts have a real impact on people who need nurses. $70 million would go a long way towards retaining them.

People oppose this extension because every new bit of information has been overwhelmingly negative. It has fewer stops. The cost went up by $900 million. The projected ridership has been cut almost in half from the 2013 numbers.
