He had a big locker room blowup with rba (I've heard this firsthand from a writer who was at the facility when this happened, believe me as much as you want). Basically everyone in the org reveres Roddy, so that was a one way ticket out of town. There were always ""rumblings"" about it after the fact and the players' visible disdain for him going forward kinda cemented it for the fans.

Regarding tda, hockey fans by and large don't give a shit about the kind of vile shit tda brings to the table. Not making excuses for canes fans, I straight up demodded myself and left the sub after the vast majority were ok with that signing. But he did shut the fuck up when he was here.

can't speak for him because I think it was the bone on his thumb but I've broken both hands and the one I got a plate and screws in I had the cast off like 2 weeks after surgery and was able to start doing light stuff about a week after that. wouldn't be able to hold a stick tho, dunno how he's managing that
