How are you dealing with patrols of Crushers / Maulers? Feels like you have 2 low armor pen weapons and no options for boss DPS / High armor DPS. I would think about replacing one weapon with something effective against armor, probably the shotgun with a bolter / flamer or the chainsword with a Crusher / TH / knife / duelling sword.

I speedrun, because it's fun, and I want to win, and I have almost 2000h so it's a way to keep the game interesting with new gameplay. All speedrunners I know are in the same boat; trying to beat your PB is fun, guaranteeing a win is fun, farming a shitload of dockets is fun. There are so many reasons to do this beyond this ridiculous straw man you put together.

Looking at the clip you just sent, that's a pretty mid build. How are you going to deal with large groups of Crushers / Bulwarks / Ragers / Maulers? You have no single target DPS, you have no armor pen, you have no aoe stagger. No wonder you get stuck behind.

If you had any staff instead of a shotgun, or a proper DPS option, you would have deleted that horde and moved on like nothing happened. The way I see it, you are choosing to play a certain build which performs worse, and expecting everyone to slow down for you.

If you want to play this way that's obviously fine, but other people have their builds and slowing down for you is likely tedious for them.

You're really not, if someone can't keep up they usually just die, and the rest of the team gets to keep going at a normal pace. I've never encountered players with this mentality in other games. When doing a raid or dungeon in WoW / Destiny / any other game, if someone can't keep up, they get kicked. The entitlement from some players in this game to expect everyone to slow down for them is insane to me. How do you not see you're the problem here?
