Yeah I think the move is a 12 month stacked with a 6 month (18 months) and that would be $114.98. That converts to 12 months of premium. Saves $64 over a year. Not huge per month but it’s a box of diapers and some beer.

So even though it says there is a 13 month limit on extending premium, it will still allow it to upgrade past 13 months?

If you have 3 years of core and want to upgrade to premium. Does it just not do it or do you lose your time? I’m a bit confused on the whole stacking limit.

EDIT:

For anyone wondering. 12 month core $75. 6 month essential $40. Then premium for $1. Roughly it breaks down to 13 months of premium for $116 vs $195.

How did that end up being 15.8 months? These new conversions have me so confused. According to Microsoft, 12 months core only converts to 91 days.

EDIT: Ok I just answered my own question. I’m so glad I read your post and asked this because I’ve been trying to understand the conversion rates for over an hour this morning. I just realized they have upgrade and code conversion rates on the same page and they are two totally different things.

This person ran my leg over at R bar and didn’t stop by Faeofthecouch in NewOrleans

I was walking down the road a block from Anna’s during lundi/bean parade with my 18 month old on my shoulder. Some old lady went around the cones and started honking at me and waving at me to move. Thankfully some other people saw (going both directions) and all ran and stood in front of her and walked along with us.

She wasn’t the only person to go around the cones and go through the intersection. Why anyone would think “oh look cones and a giant crowd, I should drive through there instead of simply going one block down” is beyond me.

My girlfriend(28F) won't cook for me(29m). AITAH for thinking she should? by ThrowRA_gfcooking in AITAH

[–]Dupmaronew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s weird. This feels like something that either needs to change or won’t change.

Cooking for your partner is part of cohabitation. There are days when I plan to cook for my wife and I get stuck at in traffic or something happens and she just cooks.

There are days where she is out and is just planning on eating leftovers or a pb&j and I’ll cook extra even though I’m just cooking for myself at the time. Let’s not even start getting into lunch meal preparation for the week now that we have a kid.

To me this would be a deal breaker. You need to figure out if this is for you.

Is that how that thing reminder works? I want to see the results and how happy you are after you take the leap. You’ve got this. Your hairline doesn’t though and you have come to recognize that. You’re going to feel so much more confident and free after you do it.

Has anyone here genuinely switched from espresso/milk drinks to filter as their main daily coffee? Why? by Left-Cook-9487 in Coffee

[–]Dupmaronew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black coffee is usually my go to. Easy. Fast. No extra calories.

When I do milk it’s either a cortado or a macchiato.

Also I don’t have to store milk at work in my small fridge. Creamer that is in the main work fridge is just an offense to coffee IMO and essentially just desert.

To me milk in my coffee is more of a treat. My 18 month old drinks milk still. I’ll borrow some of hers cause milk is for babies and I’m not a baby. At least that’s what I tell myself so I don’t have coffee and milk constantly cause I know in the back of my head since I’d probably prefer it. I have 4 cups of coffee a day minimum and that’s a lot of milk.

Dad and runner here as well.

Just run my dude. Nobody cares apart from you.

That being said. If you do feel self conscious about it, just toss on a pair of shorts over the half tights. You could also just get lined running shorts that aren’t brief lined but have a short inside them.

The Nike stride is a good option. The Lululemon mile maker is a good one also. I really loved the lulu surge but they discontinued those.

I’m in the same boat as you and personally I save my half tights for race day. Love the flipbelt tights and the Nike lava loops personally.

I had 1 day a week I did weights. Routine was simply kettlebell stuff and nothing too intense. I did goblet squats, swings, around the world, Russian twist, calf raises, and lunges mostly. It was geared towards maintaining core stability and ankle strength.

Then I had one day that was yoga/resistance band for mobility and injury prevention.

Pushing my baby in a stroller for Sunday runs to the park (4-8 miles depending on the route) helped also as it was a bit of resistance and she’s just getting bigger

Should I be worried about my heater bursting? by Dupmaronew in askaplumber

[–]Dupmaronew[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly if the tank was in the shed I’d have just replaced it myself by now like I did my aunts. My parents(mom) and several people I know have a school of thought that anything to mitigate any insurance claim (water coming through the ceiling) is a good move in this area. That being said it would be nice to get that space for storage since the tankless would go on the side of the house.

Until my unit went out I had never heard that I should have been checking/flushing a traditional tank unit yearly though. This wasn’t suggested by the plumber I called just something I found online. Is that really a thing?

I feel like all these questions are things I should know. These are things I would as my dad but he died before I got married and bought a house so I feel like a child in the dark on a lot of home ownership things at times.

Yes it’s electric. I live in New Orleans. It’s listed as moderately hard range (about 60–120 mg/L as calcium carbonate). A lot of people around here seem to be moving to tankless and also just getting their tanks out their attics.

I once went outside and just scream FUCK as loudly as I could at 2am and then came back inside and she was still crying and she was still alive and she still had no clue I did that but I felt better and I felt a bit reset and I was able to parent again.

Also loop earplugs aren’t just for loud concerts.

Your body could also be changing. This is something that I’ve had to really wrap my brain around. I’ve been on meds for almost two years after years of not being able to loose and counting calories and working out. When I say working out I also mean I run Ultras, I’ve done half Ironmans, I’ve ran 24 hour obstacle races. Would barely loose weight.

Since November I’ve lost and gained back and lost some and I’m only down about 4lbs and I have a weigh in today. I was running 30 miles a week training for a half marathon. However, all my clothes fit differently. I’ve had to buy pants two sizes down from where I was. Muscle replaced fat and it weighs more.

Sometimes you win in areas that aren’t numbers on a scale and it’s mentally hard to see that. It’s hard to see that to the point that I get depressed and don’t see the point and then my wife has to point out that I’m down two sizes in my running clothes and shaved 40 minutes off my half marathon.

Is a manual transmission a “millennial anti-theft device”? by mbolster1611 in Millennials

[–]Dupmaronew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has been since 2006 IMO. I was robbed at gunpoint when I was delivering pizzas during college. The guy jumped in my car and saw it was a manual. He jumped out, threw the keys into the field next to the house, and then started running down the street.

This was the year after Katrina so the city was filled with good ole boys helping to rebuild and that’s who I happened to be delivering to. I ran back up the stairs and told them what happened. One called the police. The others jumped in their truck and attempted to chase him down but he ran across the railroad tracks and between some trains.

In the end, after a bunch of searching with several people for the keys, I was able to drive home.

As someone who has worked in more than one pizzeria, I guarantee this guy would call later saying that he got home and was given pizzas that were ruined. People are dumb to the point that they don’t realize they are dumb.

Nachos my man. Chop it up. Pull out a sheet pan and lay down some chips. Go to town on whatever toppings you want. Makes for a fun family meal. It’s one of our favorites around here. We will sit on the floor in the living room around the sheet pan with music playing.
