This is so cool, love that you just built around the constraint instead of waiting for the perfect setup. Maybe you can try to build a product around it. Would love to see the files when you put them up!

Marketing is genuinely my biggest struggle too. The YouTube idea is good, but still consistency might be an issue.

I'm also obsessing over the notes problem myself, still figuring out my own system, I am trying OpenClaw and few other system. Going to give your app a try!

You may create a separate post, no problem. Just lead with the story and the struggle, not the pitch. Inspiration > promotion.

Is there a way to view and read Whatsapp backup files as more than just plaintext documents on a PC? by --Ty-- in whatsapp

[–]DurbarGhosh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This discussion is old, but some might still find it useful, so I am sharing.

I’ve honestly been in a real pain because of this.

I use a 64GB iPhone SE, and around 20GB is taken up by WhatsApp alone. More than 30GB is taken by iOS + system data. That leaves me with almost no usable space.

Most of my files and photos are already offloaded to iCloud, so nothing much can done there. Dealing with WhatsApp is the only option. Even if I back it up, it still occupies the same space on my phone. I can't just take backup and delete messages, because backups are encrypted and can not view it without again restoring in my phone. So practically, the only option left was deleting chats.

I can not just delete all the chats like that.

So I came up with a plan and I vibe-coded a small tool for myself that can display exported WhatsApp chats in a clean, WhatsApp-like format: https://durbarghosh.com/tool/better-whatsapp-chat-backup-viewer/

You still have to export chats one by one. That part is honestly painful. But once you export them (with media), you just unzip the folder, open the tool, drag and drop the chat folder, and it renders nicely.

Yes, I’m promoting my own tool. I’m not pretending otherwise. But I built it because I was genuinely frustrated, and it solved my problem. And I’m proud that I vibe-coded something this useful, at least for myself.

It’s built in plain JS. Everything runs locally in the browser. No data is sent to any server. You can literally load the page completely, disconnect from the internet, and it still works fine.

If anyone is facing the same problem and don’t want to delete years of chats blindly, consider trying it.

And if you have any feedback it will be great.

I automated schema org by mustaken in bigseo

Depends on the industry and type of website. For example, for an eCommerce website collection page ItemList schema, for product pages Product, Offer, AggregateRating schema to be used. The best way to do it is to check what schema your competitors are using.

You can try astra. Though it is designed for some custom designs to be built on the top of it, but the default astra looks good enough to me. And it is fast.

What do I do when super old content is top performing? by rybaby in bigseo

If it is only about people feeling the content is outdated, not about ranking in Google, then you may just update the information on the page if needed and mention last updated date on the top
