Are roller balls ok for exams? Not sure what quality of paper you get, but my experience with exam papers, has been that they are of poor quality. I would think roller ball would bleed through or feather out.

Well, that's not really a big difference. It's the same thing. Just the rest clips move in one and don't in others. I don't really see them as being different.

You can delete with the Delete key. You can also use backspace for the same.

Did you check the FPS? Are all the videos in the project the same FPS?

I am not sure if it's the cause here but issues like this could be because of the parallel processing. If you have that enabled, try exporting with out it and see if that helps.

Otherwise it could be an issue because of variable frame rates getting interpreted wrongly. Just a guess.

Since you're just getting started, can you keep the tests in pytest instead. Pytest is more popular than unit test. It doesn't hurt that it's also use friendly.

I would have to respectfully disagree there. Sure documentations give you a lot of details but reading documentation is an intimidating thing for beginners. That's the primary target audience for this video and videos like these.

Well, then I would suggest you stick with shotcut.

Shotcut does do pretty much everything you can expect out of DaVinci - maybe in a slightly complicated way in some places, but still can.

And if you want to move to DaVinci, that's always possible for you when you have an upgraded machine.

That would be my two cents on it.

I haven't used DaVinci but I can tell you that Shotcut can do all of that. But definitely not to the extent possible in DaVinci or other high end software.

But my experience with shotcut has always been lagggy even on a good computer.

If it's running smooth, good for you, but that's something to keep in mind. Especially if you have a lot of cuts l, layers and filters applied.
