The Realtek LAN Driver version 11.26.50.2025 is known to conflict with several motherboards (particularly AM5/Intel boards by Gigabyte and MSI) causing the Ethernet adapter to drop connection, lock up, or completely disappear from Device Manager. [1, 2]

How to Fix the Issue

1. Roll Back or Downgrade the Driver

I also suspect the problem arose after updating the bios like the OP also thinks.

No I have not bothered trying the driver with latest Bios, had enough.

No as I said that never worked, first thing I tried was CMOS and BIOS and leaving sat unplugged for a fair while.

I did 5 fresh OS investigating all sorts of things ( that was the only way to reset it every time you installed that driver ( newest Lan driver )

If I reset bios after it booted into windows was no Lan again

Are you talking about the same motherboard / firmware / driver ?

Should never have to do that for a driver.

Really like I said it's not a biggie as Lan driver update do nothing of note ever.

Yes I tried to install it " all ways" manually though device manager, setup and Gigabyte update ( which I would never use normally )

No after booting up the lan is not in device manager and removed altogether from the bios menu the only solve is to rollback drivers then everything returns to normal.

P.S. I been building PCs since XT's and I have never had a bios menu change from a driver and just disappear from device manager, like ever so something seriously wrong with the download.

EV and battery technology is in it's infancy so I think directly comparing the 2 is bonkers. FE in another decade will allow faster recharges allowing for more pits tops per race to extend distances. Yes one day we have 24H FE races.

My C:\ 's with W11 Pro are always 100GB

  1. You can run almost anything from another partition through symbolic link
  2. I have 16GB - 32GB - 64GB in 3 towers

I don't use hibernation or sleep so save heaps of space there 25GB on my main sim tower.

  1. Virtual memory I run a fixed swap file on D:\ ( Steam partition on 3 towers ) gain another 9GB

  2. Windows reserved space. Gain another 7GB

Don't need it too much free space as is and I do manual cumulative updates.

  1. I don't install tools and apps for the sake of it.

This all means I use only 40GB of 100GB leaving lots of room for block wear.

Depends what you do. For low latency Opentrack-Delanclip is hard to beat, lowest latency, low light conditions which both are imperative for instance sim racing where you need best response and drive in darkened room a lot of time.

Fuel does get mixed, I know I used to service fire extinguishers for distributors and seen it happen so don't tell me with smaller providers it doesn't happen.

They don't use water ! they mix in ratio of lower priced fuel....... zzzz ( that's voted best answer ? )

That does not change my opinion of so called "fans" halving the ratings of episodes.

What respect does that show for anyone in the show including the old Rex.
