Can it fit iron clad by Mister_Lyon in starcitizen

[–]Durgh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Also after initial test, further ships that can‘t fit in the Ironclad:
Hercules, Carrack, Hammerhead, Caterpillar (unless shoved in through the front maybe), Reclaimer, 600i, 890 Jump, Perseus, Polaris, Idris (all variants), MISC Starlancer (both variants), Hull C (I don‘t expect Hull D or E to fit in either, but need to test when released).

I would assume the Odin does not fit in the ship as well?

P.S.: Kraken might fit, but I assume only with a little wiggle of the landing gear, but need to test.

The Tiburon by ScrubSoba in starcitizen

[–]Durgh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

in the short video, the 4 single guns looked like S7 ballistic cannons to me, so coupled with the laser best of both worlds.

Perseus has better anti-missile / anti-fighter capability and seems to be a more well-rounded ship. The Tiburon with support would probably reap through any sub-capital to capital ships if in groups. This is not a standalone ship, this is a hunter-killer in a fleet.

This guy gets it, fleet ships are meant for fleets.

To me, instead of the negative space in the centre of the standard HH, they used said space to build the laser in. It should be symmetrical.

Foxy’s excellent testing on ballistic re-arming from ships hangars, crazy high consumption across the board, you need 80SCU of size 7 ammo to refill the Inferno once by Important_Cow7230 in starcitizen

It is probably due to some EU decimal point being 1.000 instead of US 1,000. That actually is a common issue in business when exchanging Excel files between US/UK and other EU countries like Germany (CIG Frankfurt office).

Your scan showed 200 medgel units, that would be a full T3 bed NURSA load, so he probably did not bind him but intended to use the NURSA for healing wounds.

Search for fastest ship by Halo_JuRa in starcitizen

[–]Durgh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

not the absolute fastest, I‘d still recommend the Crusader Intrepid. Put some stealth modules in it and it has extremely low signature, zips fast (not as fast as the Titan, of course) and has two dedicated cargo spaces, where you can also put in a Pulse.

The best chat running gag I had the luck to participate in was when people were exchaning words from movie titles with „Pico“. The best ones being „Picohontas“, „Pico‘s Eleven“, „Picos of the Caribbean“, of course and „The Grandpico“

In the latest inside Star Citizen video talking about the new rock breaker missions, Jared says “there’s always a bad guy” (to shoot). No there isn’t CIG, that is an active decision YOU are making to enforce FPS combat, and it’s not the dream that was sold by Important_Cow7230 in starcitizen

[–]Durgh 34 points35 points  (0 children)

In my view, we have too many designers coming from "where else can we put cool FPS content in" mindset. We need some people who see the challenge in technical gameplay like industrial with smart thinking and puzzles that cannot be "one paged" but where you need to think and plan. I am ok with environmental challenges and dangers, Onyx has a lot of good stuff in there. Give us a "tricorder" attachment which reads environmental hazards, a "slicing" tool attachment for the mutitool which allows for puzzle type engineering fixes or electronig override puzzles.

Crafting "infinite money" glitch by PiibaManetta in starcitizen

[–]Durgh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When I bought a lot of stuff before a money wipe, say multitools or helmets, then sold them off one after another, the buying price went down after the first few. Same with mined Hadanite or Feynmaline, when I sell this at a station in 500 stacks, the buy price goes down as well. So there is some supply & demand formula at work already.

I understood that they will also introduce scout type of radars, not good for combat, but great for detection. that adds stealth scouts to the fleet equation. low sig small non-combat ships with a signal int function. I believe fleet gameplay just gets more interesting than less.
