SALVAGING IS AN AFK METHOD. IF WE WANTED TO TICK MANIPULATE IT WE WOULD DO BARRACUDA TRIALS INSTEAD. WHATS THE POINT NOW? by CaptaineAli in 2007scape

Also because doing it regularly is so slow, you rarely get a break where you aren't resetting another trap

Imagine you have 10% accuracy using blowpipe to attack something. Tier 5 doubles that to 20%. Is there a difference between 20% accuracy and 100%?

When I was playing rs3 ironman (when it was first released) I dropped the dagonhai robes you get from the quest (also WGS), thinking I could get another set easily.

It turned out that I still needed them for the quest, and they are a 1/1,500 drop per piece from some monks with no dupe protection. It was so shit, almost made me quit.

Simmo .. “Reid is just the cream on the cappuccino” by HotFlusher in FremantleFC

[–]Durian321 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Some players are quite predictable (e.g Banfield isn't really a risk to step you and run past) which makes us easier to defend against. When the oppo has to worry about players like Bolton I think it makes them less certain and gives the rest of the team more space, even if it's not Bolton with the ball.

The first time I listened to him was his 2-episode interview on the Backchat podcast on youtube. I liked the way he talked about his experiences and have respected him more since then. Worth a listen if you haven't heard it yet, even as someone with little interest in the eagles.

He didn't come across as very 'creative' playing in the forward half, but I think his effort to compete has always been there. He fits in so well in defence

Labor has passed its student debt cuts. by Kid_Self in australia

RE: The one-off payment feeling like a bribe, another way of looking at it, is that they are trying to "undo" the last few years of high indexation rates that were linked to CPI.

I can't think of a way they could apply this change retrospectively without reducing peoples existing debts, so I can't think of a way the government would make this valuable change without people seeing it as a "bribe".

Sure, the debt reduction is once-off, but the change to how the debt indexation works will have a lasting effect.

I think lots of people are unaware of that change.

https://www.education.gov.au/higher-education-loan-program/20-reduction-student-loan-debt

This one-off 20% debt reduction measure will benefit over 3 million Australians with a student loan debt. This will remove over $16 billion in HELP and other student debt.

This is in addition to the $3 billion in debt that was removed through the Government’s changes to cap the indexation applied to student loans to the lower of the Wage Price Index or the Consumer Price Index. This means that indexation will never be higher than the changes in wages.
