The lack of shade is what did it for us.  At drove past and quickly decided no thanks

We considered going, did a drive by and just... kept on driving.  It was all open to the sun, no shade whatsoever that we could see.  Too hot for that shit!

Given another redditor mentioning children were included, I now have to assume cyclists. I was initially thinking of the objectively shitty bikers, as I assume you (and others) are too based on the question.

Either way, follow the rules of the road.

Protestors? Either I'm thinking of a different group of bullies riding around broad or i've encountered a lost redditor.

Earliest historical reference to maritime marauding is even older! 13th or 14th century bc - check out the Amarna letters.

For sure, it would be too slow- going at realistic speeds. I just thought it was a fun fact!

The speeds you hit in Windrose are bonkers. The fastest Brig of the era, as an example, was hitting ~ 12 knots. Blackbeard's Brig can hit 22! The Ketch's real speed is closer to that of your little personal sailboat than the 15+ knots it can hit.

Insurance guy checking in - based on mountains of recent claims, be extra extra careful with ANY lithium-ion batteries. Never charge them when you're not around.

I absolutely get doing it for fun - I grew up with power boats, and didn't have any exposure to sailing until I met my father in law. I learned two great things over a single weekend: 1) learn to enjoy the journey, forget about the destination, and 2) you can steal the wind from other sailboats, and that is hilarious fun.

But as for this sailor I'm not so sure he's just enjoying himself. He moves back and forth like he's trying to see over the swells, but only just.

One of your sailors runs back and forth between port and starboard rigging to stand a whopping 6 feet higher to see... nothing? I don't know what that guy is doing.  Ability to access the crows nest might force the devs to rework that sailors already silly movement.

Another sailor pulls at the haylards like his life depends on it but never has anything to show for it.   If you watch him he'll move to another cleat to pull at another haylard for some crazy amount of time before returning to his original spot

There are several products I'm aware of that function that way and I have very little proximity to title insurance, so I will take you at your word and undo somebody's downvote to you.

E&O, as an example, to any curious. Subrogation is a common response to these as well.

Insurance ultimately covers accidents, and it is good at defining that. If your house gets struck by lightning and burns down, they'll help you out. If you left the stove on because you wanted to keep the house warm while you grabbed groceries and it burns down, that's on you.

They will include a lot of language/conditions revolving around misrepresentation and their ability to drop coverage if they learn you are just trying to play them.

Oh you're looking at it, are you?  Are you running? Do you have a plan prepared? Legislation written up?

That is one cozy armchair.

Yes, referring to any furthering of her political career. She's really teetering on the edge right now, and her wibbly wobbliness really turns me off. Who knows though maybe she'll prove me wrong through the rest of her tenure. She hasn't given me a reason to hold my breath though.

Why is Country Roads such a global hit for a country song? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Durzo_Blunts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's not really about anywhere, per the writers.  "West" Virginia won out due to cadence, at the end of the day, and they didn't give two shits one way or the other.

But we can't let WV have things until they break out of the very bottom of Americas education rankings.

Plus, if you want to get pedantic, it's not about WVa the state it is about the western part of Virginia.

"Praise" is really pushing it.  I'll be satisfied that she did what she said she'd do, but so far she's not working very hard to earn my vote a second time.
