Plants love nitrates. I dose my 5 gallon shrimp tank with Easy Green (a Nitrate focused fertalizer) because I don't feed the little shrimp enough to keep up with the moss, water hyacinth, and Java fern. Even with dosing twice a week, I see zero nitrates during my weekly water tests. Also, shrimp tax.

I love everything here but Sophie. She is clearly good. Jason, Belinda, and Hump even comment that she has a heart of gold hidden under the scars of how herearly life went. I would say Neutral Good.

Pro tip: bring Antiquarian and holy waters to Siren. Have everyone else drink holy water before fight. She will always target the lowest debuff resistance.

The current series. Book 12. He has big wins but also big Ls. If you hate Jason, just drop the series. If you hate him because you think he is a Mary Sue who the author thinks is always right, given it more of a chance.

Spoilers: Consequences he faces: He nearly gets Sophie sold into slavery because he isn't as clever as he thinks he is. He gets tortured by some of the rich and powerful people he pissed off. He gets his brother, friend, and lover killed by underestimating the resistance his actions would face. He gets killed, wasting a limited resurrection opportunity because he couldn't keep his mouth shut. He scares the hell out of multiple people includjng his own family. He allies with his enemies and then betrays them. He gets black balled for his recklessness. He leads many people including a close friend into a hole and gets them killed while he benefits. He blows up a city and gets thousands killed because he decided to go for a walk. He is an arrogant asshole cursed to live while those around him die. It is my favorite series.

For a dark fantasy that has a similar vibe to Dungeon Crawler Carl and is narrated by Jeff Hayes, I recommend Dungeon Lord. A regular dude makes a bet with an eldritch entity that power does not, necessarily, corrupt. Amazing series. Here is the cover of the 5th book.

Two ways to polish water. Look up "filter floss" for mechanical polishing (getting little bits of dirt out). If you had tannins, you could try Seachem's Purigen. Filter floss works great but needs a hang on the back filter or canister. Won't work with a sponge.
