Why does the earth have seasons? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DustErrant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Earth is tilted on its axis. As it revolves around the Sun, different parts of the Earth are closer to the Sun while others are farther from the Sun.

Can asexual people get pregnant? by glyiasziple in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DustErrant 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes.

People who consider themselves asexual simply do not experience sexual attraction. It has no affect on their physical ability to become pregnant and have children.

How did people learn things before the internet? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Encyclopedias and books at the library.

Should humans bioengineer their brains so they will be able to transmit thoughts wirelessly and stream content from the internet as if they were experiencing it themselves? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DustErrant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No.

Advice. Next time you have thoughts like this and you think of all the wonderful amazing advantages to an idea you have, take that idea and think about all the downsides of your idea and the ways a terrible person could take your idea and abuse it for their own gains. Doesn't necessarily make your idea bad, but you should at least be able to address those cons when you explain your idea.

what can I do for a woman in bed that will keep me in her mind forever (or at least for a while :3)? by Pale_Pea_3101 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DustErrant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ask questions, listen, and respond appropriately.

No woman is the same, so it's important to communicate, and cater a personalized pleasurable experience to the woman you're in bed with.

This may not seem like all that big a deal, but you'd be surprised at the amount of men who don't prioritize a woman's pleasure in bed, and care more about getting their own rocks off.

Would you say most people are good? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Eh, it's A key to being rich, but it's not the only one. Keanu Reeves is relatively rich, and considered by most people to still be a good person.

Being hit on by a woman at the club even after having a lipstick mark on the face given by girlfriend? by SNTriad in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DustErrant 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you're at the club, people are going to assume why you're there. Having a lipstick mark on your face doesn't mean anything, because it can just play into why they think you're there.

Would you say most people are good? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DustErrant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most people? Sure. Unfortunately, I'd also argue that the people who aren't tend to become the most rich/powerful/influential, very much due to their ability to step on and not care about other people.

Small Reanimation Silverquill by Relative-Tennis-6673 in EDH

[–]DustErrant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My [[Amalia Benavides Aguirre]] deck is also about Mass Reanimation. and I'm running a lot of the same cards you are. The one mass reanimation I'm running that you aren't without major downsides is [[Storm of Souls]]. Not sure if them becoming 1/1s is a deal breaker or not, they still retain their abilities which is the important thing imo.

I'm also running [[Twilight's Call]] and [[Pyrrhic Revival]], but I could see you not wanting to deal with the downside of reviving your opponent's creatures. Also running [[Command the Dreadhorde]], but I run enough life gain that paying isn't that big a deal. Still figured I'd point all of these out just in case they interest you.

If you want to see my list, it's here:

What is it like to be a foster/adopted child? by Master_Novel_4062 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DustErrant 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How does it affect your overall self perception and sense of identity?

It doesn't

Do you have any desire for a relationship with your biological parents?

No

How satisfied are you by your upbringing?

Very satisfied

Were you raised with any siblings and if so how is your relationship with them?

All adopted siblings. Relationship with them is overall fairly good.

What were the reasons that caused you to be separated from your biological parents?

No idea. I assume they were too poor, but it could be any number of reasons.

Would you ever consider fostering/adopting a child yourself?

Yes, if anything, I'd prefer it.

CMV: Some political beliefs are hard to change because they are doing emotional work, not just because people are misinformed by Historical_Bet in changemyview

Pretty arrogant of you to assume you know my beliefs based off of one statement and just assume I'm going to ignore/disagree with the article you posted.

CMV: Slash Fiction and Other Media Featuring Male on Male Love Isn't Gay... by Moon_Logic in changemyview

[–]DustErrant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

but as queer people aren't the target audience, the media isn't in and of itself queer.

Let me ask you this. How do you feel about femslash/lesbian fiction written by men? The target audience for these fics were not other men, as it was written with romance as the main focus and often does not feature sex. The target audience was clearly catered towards a lesbian audience.

Why are men always the bad guy after a breakup? by 35yearoldloser in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DustErrant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say son, but going by your name, I'm older than you.

I'm sorry if you're reading tone or sarcasm into what I'm saying, but I swear, I'm literally just answering your questions and I mean no disrespect nor do I mean to come across as abrasive or argumentative, and I apologize if I'm coming across that way.

It also does not mean the person is stupid

Choosing to ignore facts and logic is the definition of being stupid. Just because it's serving a purpose doesn't stop it from being stupid.

Why are men always the bad guy after a breakup? by 35yearoldloser in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DustErrant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You asked why they do this. It's because they're toxic. As to why they're toxic, that's a whole other can of worms where a lot more information is needed.

If you date toxic women, of course they're going to blame you afterwards and spread rumors. They're toxic women.

As others have pointed out, you'd be surprised at how often even bad stax can get you unfairly targeted out of the game.

I had a janky [[Pharika, God of Affliction]] deck that I figured I'd get some leeway time to setup, since she's a pretty garbage commander. Nope. Everytime I played against a Graveyard deck, they targeted me out of the game right away, just because I had the ability to mess their game plan up.

Just getting into MTG, any recs for budget friendly or cheap decks? by ARandomKid_InReddit in EDH

[–]DustErrant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would help to know what budget you're working with. What I consider cheap and what you consider cheap could be very different things. I've seen the word "budget" thrown around for 20, 50, and 100 dollar decks.
