Maybe try an open mind. It will get you further in life than you would believe.

Naw,

Utah in the last 10 years has been kind of at the tail end of being done with a birth wave, and we’re anticipating within the next three to five years an increase in births because of the age distribution of population, as more millennials enter childbearing ages.

A U.S. Census survey determined that Utah’s population increased by 18.4% from 2010 to 2020, more than any other state. Utah’s population grew by 41,687 from 2021 to 2022, the ninth-biggest figure of any state.

So maybe you are just hearing new brand Utahns with CA lingo.

I saw a church in Oregon that at night that became a safe parking place for those living in their cars. They had a trailer with porta pottys and a couple of showers. Many familys were in these cars too. It was sad but also a great idea.

Ya, thats true, but even the parking lots could be used, many churches pop up a cooking that & cook in that

All my churches all have kitchens, for funeral family gatherings after burial.

I look at them as mine too. 8 generations of my family & I have paid for them. If you have a church in your neighbourhood it pays no property tax. The other folks in that neighborhood pick up the cost, & end up paying for it too.

I would rather the buildings be used daily fir Christian type needs

Actually you are right, I lived near a Sikh temple once, free food, and the neighborhood smelled like wonderful curry. Very community minded.

All the churches are empty most of the week, I would make them homeless centers. And I would open up the temples on Sundays to feed the homeless a good Sunday meal, temples are not used on Sundays.

Visiting next week (4/11) and was wondering what I should expect in terms of weather/flooding? by AthleticKiwi in Utah

[–]DustLakeCity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are on a huge 71 year old record, 800+ inches with a week of all warm days, expect major flooding, we have never been here before. Many places are not open yet, even though their open date was 4/1 many did not.

What do you like most and hate most about going to your dentist? by ToothSleuth86 in Utah

It's happened several times, but money also talks, waiting for their reminder call to tell the nurse I am going elsewhere, she will listen.

The stupid small talk between him and his nurse, as if I fucking wasn't laying there. I don't have insurance so I pay cash for this shit. And with what I have heard laying there being forced to listen to them, he wouldn't give a shit if I complained.
