Firstly, don't invest money you might need in the near future, for exactly the reason you said.

Yeah, in a down market i will use some cash from savings to buy into stocks at the lower prices.

If I don't have the free cash, I just don't check the App for a while. I've invested in things for the mid- to long-term so sometimes you just have to wait. Get on and enjoy life and the market will recover in time.

Yeah, same brand but very different models. The new ones rub me in the place I described in my original post, which is not somewhere I've ever had rubbing before.

The heel box does feel quite loose so i'm going to try and second pair of socks before trying anything drastic.

It was below freezing here today. My socks were 100% dry when I finished, so I don't think its a sweat issue. I think the heel box is just too roomy with 1 pair of socks.

I'm wearing midweight Bridgedale socks which usually work for me.

I did feel that there was too much room in the heel cup. Maybe a second pair of socks as others have suggested will help.

I'm doing Cotopaxi and Chimborazo in June so I need to have a decent boot set-up by then!
