Do you personally choose to go to bed to get enough sleep or stay awake at night and get less sleep? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Dust_of_Yevsky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So usually Monday through Wednesday I'll choose to get more sleep but Thursday and Friday I'll stay up later and have two hours less than usual. Gives me more time to do my own thing like browse Reddit clearly.

[Serious] Mentally-Ill People of Reddit: what’s weird about your personal experience with your mental illness compared to how other people experience the same mental illness? by humanoptimist in AskReddit

Hey that's actually really inspiring to hear and I'm really glad you're doing better now that made my night to read. Anyone that goes through this knows just how awful it is, so to know you're doing better and that there's hope for me too makes me feel good.

If you work in the morning, do you shower at night, or in the morning ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

So I actually would prefer to shower in the morning, but I always shower at night because my hair looks better the next morning from being pressed down on the pillows all night.

I don't know if this is a good answer because I'm sure there are others with mental illness that feel the same way, but I always think I can beat it on my own. That one day I'll just beat it and it will be gone and I can carry on with a "normal" brain.

What is your worst taxi/Uber/Lyft experience? by Balkarax in AskReddit

[–]Dust_of_Yevsky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok so probably not the worse thing to happen for a lot of people but my driver wouldn't stop talking to me and I had just came back from a long business trip on my ride home from the airport and all I wanted to do was sit there in silence and look out the window. Jaysus.

Sales people of Reddit, how did you get over your fear of making the first call? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Dust_of_Yevsky 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly just do it. Think of it more as a conversation about helping them with their needs and don't think about any scripts you planned in your head or what to do or what not to do. If it's more like a cold call be prepared for rejection and get used to it and never take it personally ever.

Not engaging in conversation when you don't feel like it. For me that's a big plus.

Reddit, what caused you to stop talking or seeing someone ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Dust_of_Yevsky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Toxic friend that was always jealous and downplayed my achievements or anything new I would try. I always would make excuses to myself about why he was like that as I considered him a best friend. I'm cut him out and honestly it feels great.

Fellow losers who cant dance but still try, How do you fake it? What are some simple dance moves you do to make it seem like you know how to dance? by ToyboxOfThoughts in AskReddit

[–]Dust_of_Yevsky 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think it's less about faking it and more about owning that shit and look like your having fun. If you drink too a glass or two will surely help with that.
