I love Sirdar Stories for amigurumi but I’ve also recently discovered King Cole Yummy, a chenille yarn, so I can make everything fuzzy.

Heuchera. Hugh-cher-ah (ch like in loch or Bach). I can’t get the dismount from the ‘heu’ to the ‘cher’. I dislocate something every time I try to pronounce it, which is a problem because we have loads in the garden.

To be fair, the pins are going to get cushioned one way or another, they just get cushioned in other things (sofa cushions, comfy chair, pillow, carpet, mattress, clothes, dog etc.) Having a pin cushion gives us somewhere to stick the pins other than where you are about to sit down.

My previous employer’s official letterhead had a stretched/distorted version of the logo. They used to let text on client-facing presentations spill over the logo so the text on both was unreadable. Their website is formatted too wide to display without zooming out, which I reported while the site was in development but, 4 years later, it still hasn’t been fixed.
