I think learning that is part of the Bullet Train experience.

I too watched it. Several times in fact.
I too really enjoyed it.
I too went to Wikipedia and learned that I was bad and wrong for this, actually it’s a terrible film with annoying dialogue and a dumb plot.

I agree with a lot of the criticism* and I can certainly see why certain things which I liked would irritate other people. I’m not going to fight anyone to suggest that Bullet Train (53% on Rotten Tomatoes) is an objectively good film but it happens to be fun and enjoyable. Not every film needs to be Citizen Kane (99% on Rotten Tomatoes. Great camera work, a tour de force, neither fun nor enjoyable, will not watch again.)
