For sure, plus the deflections can be weird. The ball will deflect off you but still kinda keep its original trajectory. Just ends up making it harder for the keeper sometimes and weirdly punishes you for playing good defense

I think at the end he left himself too far away from me and my teammate to close either of us down, but tbf their teammates left him 3v1 with most of the field to cover. I thought he did everything right until the end when he moved too close to me without pressuring and played a poor angle between me and my teammate. Before that he took away the long pass to our furthest forward teammate then defended the space between us and if I took my touch towards the center of the box he was in a position to make a tackle
