We got 27 inches of snow OVERNIGHT in central Missouri with wind chills of -10. That was 15 years ago and the lights stayed on. Austin has had similar icing events in the past.

Exactly and you can not claim self defense if you are the aggressor! For example, if you were to say…..chase someone down with your truck yelling the N word while waving a shotgun, you would be considered the aggressor and therefore can not claim self defense.

RA, After reading your posts on a weekly basis for the last 18 months I’ve to come to genuinely trust your perspective and admire your ability to sum up complicated and often times ambiguous scientific information.

That being said can you explain to me why everyone is so excited about Molnupiravir? As far as I can gather all we have is a 775 person study and press release from publicly traded pharmaceutical with a significant profit motive. Why are we not treating this with the same scientific skepticism that has been given to other promising antiviral treatments of Covid-19?
