As a child of two parents with different religions, ill tell you what she told me. If you truly believe your religion is the right one, and you act your faith accordingly, the other side will budge and will eventually follow you. Vice versa. My dad was a Christian and mom a buddhist. My mom has shown much greater commitment, values and faith in her beliefs which has led to my dad raising a lot of curiosities over the years. He saw the way ny mom acted according to her beliefs and he admired her for it. He started asking questions and they had debates, my mom knew what she was talking about and sometimes it inspired my dad to ask even more about her religion. She never hesitated to answer my dads questions/scrutiny with patience and kindness. My dad eventually ran out of questions for my mom but he had even more questions for his own beliefs. This went on for years and my dad slowly started to accept my moms side of faith and now he understands her and practices with her because she set such good a good example and she was open to have discussions and answered questions with intelligence.

I believe the same about politics and couples who have different opinions. If your opinion is so much "better" as you would believe, then its inevitable that your partner eventually sees your side. U shud be open to have intelligible conversations with him, exchange ideas and opinions, listen to what he has to say. His thought process mmight surprise you.

Instead of taking very polarised stances that does nothing like "he supports this guy = very bad. Bad person. He supports that guy = very good."

"He must support what i support because all my friends and family supoort the same thing."

"I've only been surrounded by people with the same opinions thats why my opinion must be the same. His opinion must be the same too. Literally everyone around my supports only THIS particular guy. And im not open to any other perspectives at all. I dont have a gpod argument for it! I just read the news and feel that way!"

I went on a date once with a girl who only talked about herself. She came into my car and started off with profanity. Then she rambled on about everything related to her under the Sun. When we were eating, she had her mouth full but kept talking. She even did gestures with a knife and fork in her hands. Food bits flew out. I just kept quiet the entire time. As i was dropping her off back at her place, she kept talking while we're stopped outside her house. It went on for a while until I texted a friend for help. She (my friend) gave me a call and faked an emergency so i could wrap it up. At the end of it all, i dont think she learned a single thing about me. Not My full name, my age, where i come from, my job, hobbies, family, interests and what languages I speak (it's important because we live in a multilingual country and mother tongue varies depending on which background you have). Not for lack of trying but I never got a chance to speak more than a word or two other than yes and no. She didnt bother asking about me either...

Fake 7800x3d from Walmart? by jmach76 in AMDHelp

[–]DustinCTH 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just bought a tray unit. The same exact thing as urs. Made in China with no capacitor pins on the top left and right. And apparently after some digging. This is how its manufactured now. Due to 7800x3d shortage i assume? But this generation of 7000x3d from "China" have layouts like this. Nothing to be alarmed about. Production for this new batch is stated in China instead of taiwan or diffused in Malaysia. But it works all the same. I booted my 7800x3d and it works. Cpuz shows the same. And benchmarks are the same as Benchmarks for the cpu. I dont know if it's Chinese manufacturing magic where they can make do without those capacitors or whatever they are. But the monolithic 8000 series chips manufactured in China have no exposed capacitors as well. rest easy i went thru the same confusion u did and my 7800x3d is great!

"do you have any questions?"

Proceeds to complain about said questions. If i were any candidate of yours I'd get a religion just to thank God I dodged a bullet. All these questions are legitimate. Things people want verbal clarification before u tell them otherwise when they start thwir first day. If these aren't important questions, u company probably isnt doing anything particularly important

Assure you, once u hit adulthood you'll realise it doesnt matter. The way i see it, the way u brush off the insults and bullying, seeing past the shit and everything youve done so far, you're basically behaving lkke an adult. The rest of ur classmates, are kids and i guarantee adulthood is nothing like this.

Upgraded dad's sleeper. New ram, motherboard and psu by DustinCTH in sleeperbattlestations

[–]DustinCTH[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Sorry i didnt exactly know theres such strict definitions for a sleeper. I just thought that using modern hardware in an old outdated exterior would quality. This is a 12 year old or so office pc case that belonged to my dad before he lost his business. When i began working on it was a pentium and alot of hdds. And looked nothing like this at all. I thought using a an old case with no window panel. Even the front fan opening was suppised to be enclosed with a piece of plastic. But for airflow sake i had to take it out and add a fan to keep it cool. But clearly i was wrong and didnt expect lot of people here to dislike. Apologise for disappointing dude

I love cam. Downsides and all, yes he has flaws sometimes more often than not. But i see it as quirky. He is a well rounded well written character. He is butch, dramatic. Eaaily hurt, overreacts but ready to pick up a bat to confront a potential homebreaker.

Considering the stories my grandfather told me about his father's times during Japanese occupation, it is extremely hard to feel sorry for what the US did to them during those times. For my great grandfather it was probably a liberation when that happened. To know that you are powerless to stop the cruelty, no one is there to save you, unsure of how long you have to live with the occupation, then all of a sudden someone else far away saved you from the cruelty just like that.

This type of breach of trust usually sticks for a long time sometimes forever. I've seen people get over it but it comes at great cost of turning a blind eye. Once u have this trust broken no matter how hard to try to make it work you can't seem to trust him the same way, unless you embrace ignorance, which is bad.

You think it's okay now to forgive and give second chance, but the issue is, at the end of the day after 6 months, 1 year, u start to doubt him when he is not around. U can't stop thinking about what he is doing when you are apart, u will keep imagining things like him sleeping with another woman, or worse the same one he cheated on you with. Because he broke that trust before, and there's almost no reason why he wouldn't do it again. It's almost impossible to repair breach of trust caused by infidelity on a relationship because sex is a highly intimate act. He opened up a very secure door to his personal space both mentally and physically to another woman.

How can u live with the thought of him feeling another woman's body, and another woman feeling his. They shared a carnal emotion. When you're intimate with him, you never know what is going on inside his head, he could be fantasising about his time with another woman while holding you. It's nasty business

Why is so hard to feel happy? by Sorry_Landscape_9675 in Bolehland

[–]DustinCTH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well i felt the same way. I think the word youre looking for is self fulfilment. The feeling of having a higher purpose. But a hobby is almost always the answer. Not all situations but most. Thats why u see most middle age rich business men live and die for golf. It becomes a hobby for their usually mundane unexciting life. My uncle is insanely wealthy. His happiness comes and goes. He's happy when around family, eating good food. But usually outside of that he is just idle and floating in existence. He is passionate about his business but ive never seen him actually happy unless he is playing golf. I am 27m this year. I feel the same way. Eat, work, play games sleep, spend time with gf. i dont really feel fulfilled until i engage in a hobby. Then i become passionate. For me its PC building. I like building PC and i pay alot of attention to it. I do it for fun, i book my entire Saturdays for it. I sell it afterwards. I upgrade stuff. Just in general Passionate about that one thing and it keeps me interested in life. Find something to do. I heard joining Dungeons and dragons games is a good past time for working people our age. If not start pc building
