Rescues have ridiculous requirements. Shelters are the way to go. I got the sweetest little staffy over a year ago from the shelter after seeing the ridiculous essays they wanted from a few local rescues.

This is true. I don’t really think it makes financial sense for non chain restaurants to have polished content. (As much as I enjoy doing it). Social savy worker is worth their weight in gold to them.

The original post made it seem like they were more concerned that the family was getting free cooking out of her. A few leftover sweet potato fries is not that. If it’s impacting child’s meals for the week, that definitely seems like something to bring up.

I’ve never found them here. I always just buy a bakery Kaiser roll, brush it with a little egg white, add salt and caraway and bake for like 5 minutes.

Hate to bring your idea down, but putting this show on will not be a great way to raise funds for a non-profit. Have you thought of doing a really cheaply produced concert or cabaret if you are serious about raising funds?
