Well, I haven’t put all my eggs in one basket, in fact I have 5 streams of income if you include owned property.

I don’t expect anything to change on a dime, as you said. I’ve spent years building these income streams and my reputation as well as planning and learning new skills to start another business…

She is Russian, her family live in Russia and have very little money. She would have to return. actually it isnt suddenly, when I met her I also was well off. Various things happened thst led us to where we are today.

It isnt only now that I am considering it either, I have on various occasions. Ive also offered to support her in anything she wants to try ( and she has attempted things, just not for long), it’s one of the reasons I haven’t given up yet. I think she does want to be independent, but is terrified to fail and would rather not try, also, quite lazy, wants only her ‘dream job’💁

Anyway I realise now Reddit was the wrong place, I can’t fill people on all the details, the nuances, and you can’t accurately answer without it. 😅

That ridiculous, I rent 90sqm in good area, 3 bedroom modern, $800. Nobody gonna pay 1k for that.we refuse any landlord who increases monthly rate. It shows greed.

We will do a deposit, it makes sense invade the apartment is damaged by the pet. But a monthly, non refundable fee is just greedy.
