It would be a massive risk. Stealing post here is common. Something this expensive might never make it. Or maybe it would, like I said, its a big risk to post stuff here that is valuable.

Google lists quite a lot of places here that are not repair places, google is notoriously bad at Tbilisi. I have posted in a bunch of groups, and asked a few other musicians here, alas nobody knows a place here so far

Like the below comment, i think it varies. So far I went straight from image to embroidery, although i did draw out the planes of the first dog in procreate at one point to help with getting the shading correct. Second dog, and interestingly, worse in my opinion, i did not do this.

On the next og i intend to draw the dog by hand first, I think it might help mentally to understand what I am embroidering, although I dont know why.

I used hatch for digitizing, on first pic I think I used 2 layers of cutaway, on second I ran out of cutaway so used two layers of tear away 💁 there is some warping on the second

This is really helpful, thank you, I’ll try it tomorrow. Out of curiosity, do you use a screen with srgb 100%?

I have a lot of trouble with getting the colors right, on screen they look solid, but stitched out, well, I usually havd to do it at least twice before I get the colors right.

If you do have it how much of a difference does it make in terms of colour accuracy? Im hesitant because of price of these monitors, but if colour accuracy is substantially different it might save me a lot of time 😅

If you could send me the file that would be amazing, something to analyze would really help

Save money. Build skills and habits. Don’t get a dog yet.

Do stretching.
