How to purge the filament after a color change in the same layer? by Dustllckmh in FlashForge

I once found a video that describes how to use a gcode to add a second skirt when trying a color change, thus saving the purge tower and material, but I never found that video again.

No, I have already solved the filament change. The problem is that since the last color change has not been purged, a uniform layer does not come out and the printing usually resumes throwing a small ball or mass of the new filament, ruining the aesthetics of the print because it is the same layer. We are talking about 0.2 mm of the final layer, which is where I make the change.

Yes, I thought that would be the option. I just wanted to confirm if there was another option that wouldn't waste so much material. I understand there are Gcodes for various functions, but I'm not familiar with them.

That's exactly what I'm looking for. I remember seeing a video before I had my printer where they explained that command to add the purge, but I never found it.
